Sleep Advice: Awake Times for Baby

 

Babies from newborn to about 12 months should be sleeping 11-13 hours per night

 

This Means:

  • Early bedtimes

  • Think 7PM-7AM, 8PM-8AM

  • If you have to do overnight feeding, don’t prolong sleep- just wake them up to feed.

 

If a baby is getting this many hours of sleep, you will prevent over tiredness!

 

Overtiredness means late-night crying, fussiness & the second wind of hyper activity.

No one wants that!
