We are here for you!

The Parent Collective is an online community that provides resources, classes, and coaching sessions for parents — from pregnancy to preschool. Each class and coaching session is designed to support mothers and fathers through the various transitions of parenthood. Whether you’re looking for guidance when it comes to delivery preparation, new baby care, and everything in between — we’ve got you covered. Our team of facilitators are all trained experts who are passionate about imparting their knowledge from their experience as practitioners and as parents to those in need of support. In addition to class series and coaching, The Parent Collective hopes to be a non-judgmental place to build connections as a community and provide an opportunity to share resources with one another in a safe, supportive environment for parents.

Meet our founder!

The Parent Collective was founded by Jessica Hill as a result of her personal experience during pregnancy. Jessica was pregnant with her first child in the UK, and as an American woman, she began to feel anxious that she was going to have her baby so far away from family support. Her friends suggested that she register for a prenatal class series called The NCT, which was organized by neighborhood and due date — allowing all couples to form support networks prior to their babies being born. This series of classes proved invaluable to her during her pregnancy.

Jessica is an entrepreneur and mother of two who has dedicated her career to supporting mothers, particularly during pregnancy and postpartum. Inspired by her own journey into motherhood, Jessica started The Parent Collective, which seeks to equip new parents with the education and support they need to thrive during the early years of parenthood. As a certified life coach and Fair Play Facilitator, Jessica helps reconnect moms to their purpose, by helping to integrate pieces of themselves they may have lost along the way and guiding them toward a more joyful and easeful way forward.

Now, Jessica hopes to create a similar community for expectant parents with The Parent Collective that will provide information and resources while building supportive social networks along the way.

About Our Facilitators

Each one of our facilitators is a trained expert in their field. They are all local and have knowledge about the hospitals and doctors in their community. Many are parents themselves and can speak to the worries you might be experiencing or questions you might be wondering about.

They are excited to impart knowledge from their experience both as practitioners and as parents but more importantly to have a conversation with participants about their hopes, expectations, and concerns.

Meet Our Location Directors

As The Parent Collective expands, we are building an amazing team to help us manage all of these new partnerships and grow our community! Below you can learn a bit more about them and reach out with any questions.

  • Sarah is a mom of 3 young boys, who longed for the support & friendship of other moms during those early years with her first. When she came across TPC back in 2019 she knew that she had to get involved to help other new parents fill that void. Alongside looking after 3 dogs, 2 horses, 12 chickens and three boys, Sarah runs our prenatal & postpartum classes in Ridgefield CT & Hartsdale NY.

  • Caroline is a certified nurse midwife and mom to one baby boy. She enjoys educating parents on their choices in childberth, thus empowering them to step into parenthood with confidence! She is expanding classes further into Westchester County so reach out if you have ideas!

  • Jackie is a Certified Nurse Midwife and has been in the birth world for nearly 10 years. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy little dog named Charlie. She has attended births both in hospitals big and small as well as a birth center for the last 5 years.  Prior to becoming a Midwife, she was a Labor and Delivery room nurse for 7 years at a very busy hospital.  Jackie believes there’s no such thing as one right birth plan for every family.  Birth is as dynamic as each one of us but no matter what your birth choices are; you should always feel supported, empowered and respected during your pregnancy, birth and postpartum seasons. She is so happy to have the opportunity to help guide you during your path to parenthood!
