Join our comprehensive 1.5-hour feeding class, sponsored by Westmed’s OB/GYN and Pediatrics Departments in partnership with The Parent Collective, designed specifically for Westmed patients between 34-36 weeks gestation. Led by a registered nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), this session equips you with evidence-based knowledge for successful breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Topics covered include initiating breastfeeding, proper latching techniques, pumping, safe milk storage, establishing feeding schedules, and troubleshooting common challenges. Your instructor will be available to address any queries, ensuring you start your feeding journey confidently.
